 St Andrew's  Preschool provides a wonderful environment that is structured on family, community, faith, love, growth, and exploration!  From the first day of school, students are divided into developmentally appropriate age groups and learn about the different dynamics between home environments and school environments. As children prepare for Kindergarten, they are learning to participate in structured routines, demonstrate the ability to make decisions, and plan ahead, and to take responsibility for what they do. We also take great pride in acknowledging that we are all unique and  and learn at our own pace.

    We understand that children often times have a hard time staying focused and sitting still so our staff of teachers take it upon themselves to engage and use hands on teaching methods to captivate your child's attention span.  Our curriculum is a  Covered HSCDELF  curriculum that is based on  Exploratory Learning Domains that implement self directed approches based on curiosity and social skills that are teacher directed and inspired from the students, as well as exploring together and learning about people, the way things work, our world, and our own natural resources through direction and play. HighScope is a fun rewarding curriculum that inspires  exciting themes which  allow students to learn through hands on experiences and activities.

    Children learn by doing and we understand that children would rather get up and become involved then having to try and sit down for long periods of time. Having respect for the developmental stages of children is something that often times gets over looked by adults, and it is important to recognize and to be able to relate to why children react the way they do. HIGH SCOPE implements academics in fine motor as well as gross motors that include: Creative Cultural Arts Expression, Social Diverse approaches to learning Language Development, Literacy Alphabet and Writing, Logic & Reasoning, Mathematics,  Science, Social Studies Knowledge & Skills, Physical Development & Health, and Multiple Diverse Arts.

    We also take field trips and explore the world around us. We invite you to come along.
